Red Cross Month – Be part of a life changing experience
March is Red Cross Month, a time to honor the millions of people like you who generously give of your time, talent, money and blood to help change lives for those in need.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt first declared March Red Cross Month in 1943. Each president since continues the tradition of recognizing the lifesaving services provided by the Red Cross and the incredible volunteers who make it possible.
Read stories by Red Cross employees and volunteers, as well as those by sponsors who celebrate Red Cross Month 2010. Share your story and help spread the word about the importance of being part of a life changing experience.

We wish we could list all the great feedback we get from donors, but there's only so much room. Here's one response from James Roth of Henderson, Ky.
"I give blood as often as possible and I volunteer at Red Cross blood drives. It is like making an installment payment for a good future. The blood you donate could help save the life of someone unknown... a gift."
Thank you for spreading the word!
